The Eddie Kayne Show

So MJR recently secured a contract with the Eddie Kayne show, exciting. The issue is that as I have gotten older I don’t really listen to the radio that much. You understand how that is, you get in the car after a long day and honestly I just want to listen to the wheels ride on the pavement. And that is what I do, it is very relaxing. So when I was contacted by the show I really didn’t know who or what it was. After a little research I found out that this show was HUGE!! He focused around indie artist to give a forum for them to play their music. Some of the artist were very popular and some of the artist were just beginning to gather steam but every one of the artist that I researched had GREAT talent.

The first show I did is below, check out the look. It was a live broadcast from one of his sponsors locations (Crockett wireless) where they set a stage and had a nice crowd to let the artist perform on. It was pretty cool. Enjoy. MJR

Big Weekend

So this week is almost at an end and we are running around busy as ever, Fashion for Paws will be shot on Saturday and we are doing the last preparation to get the job completed. A new idea came to me on how I’m going to tell the story, I think it’s….WAIT i know it’s going to be entertaining…..I wonder what I should wear..

This was the teaser trailer MJR put together for the Mrs. DC America 2012 show that we shot. The competition was held in Washington DC at the historic George Washington University Campus. Platinum and Gold Sponsors included Kristin Irene, DC Life Magazine, Michele Mone Hair Extensions, Malvin Riggins, MJRVisuals, Central Casting and DC Mayor’s Office.

Moving Forward

So over the past few weeks MJRVisuals has come closer to what we are looking for, business. We have gotten to the point where every minute of every day we are busy. Is that a good thing? As our work progress we have gotten more inquires from companies we would never had before. Great! We have also had the opportunity of learning new equipment and using new graphics. There’s a quote I have hanging in my office that I read everyday. “Success. Desire is the key to motivation, but it’s the determination and commitment to an unrelenting pursuit of our goal, a commitment to excellence, that will enable us to attain the success that we seek.” Is that true? I hope so. MJR

Moving

So I finally figured out that I really really HATE moving. Over the last three days we have moved the studio from one location to another, in the middle of moving we shot two music videos and a photoshoot. What a mess. It’s 12pm on a Sunday night and I’m getting calls from the clients asking where are their videos, sometimes I want to say I have a 72 hour turnaround time. I guess they figure that because I normally get it down same day……..go fig. We have alot of things coming down the pipeline and I want to say Thank You to all our friends, family and clients.

This weekend I shot another video of L-Tunez called Checkmate. They crazy thing is I don’t really listen to hip hop/rap music but I have come to realize that ANYTHING and EVERYTHING sounds good to you after 10 hours straight of editing and putting the video together. I’m thinking right about now I could rap this song word for word. Can a 40 year old guy rap? HMMMM……….

MJR offers the artist the ability to worry only about the song as we will produce, direct and shoot the video requested. We also provide the lighting equipment, venue of the shoot, and models; when requested. Please take a look at some of our examples.

Music Videos are on a per service basis. We offer the shooting, editing, directing, production of the music video. We also offer animation, after effects graphics to include lights and sound.

The Basic Package price covers two “local” locations shoot and 3 hours of shooting, if more time is needed or other locations requested please inform the Director prior to final pricing.
